Well, it is probably a better investment than the Green Monkey.

In defense of the camel -- (1) you can race them (2) they survive in drought conditions (3) you can milk them and make tents from their hair and (4) you can eat them if necessary and not get criticized in the press. :D

The royal family is putting their money into the historical traditions of their people. Can't argue with that at all. And the end result may be better looking camels. Which seems a very worthy goal.

You have no god-given right to gas.

And in any case, if you think your prices are bad then check out how much [petrol] costs here in the UK, about £1.10 per metric litre.
