I'm kind of thinking that Mill Reef and Habitat (or Never Bend and Habitat) might have been a decent nick.

Any stats to back that up?

Mill Reef anywhere in the sire's pedigree over Habitat anywhere in the dam's pedigree yielded 29 GSWs. Mill Reef just in the sire's sire side plus Habitat on the broodmare sire's side yielded 11 GSWs. The Ventura GeoScore of Mill Reef on the sire side and Habitat on the dam's side was above average in all countries with stats, except New Zealand, and exceptional in France and Japan.
The reverse cross, Habitat on top and Mill Reef on the bottom, yielded 28 GSWs with them in any position on top or bottom, and when just in the sire's and broodmare sire's positions yielded 11 GSWs. That VGS (Habitat over Mill Reef produced really exceptionally strong stats for the countries involved.
Hope that helped.
