To you and "Bang" a healthy and profitable trip right to the winners circle. Come home safe and sound with pockets of full money. BEST OF LUCK

From watching some of the Gulfstream races, I've noticed that the horses from the West Coast do rather well down South....Go Get EM Bang.............

Roguelet, 12:30 California time is three hours behind the east coast, so 12:30 PST would be 3:30 PM. That should work with your vet appointment!

NBC is going to show the races, so for once us cable/satellite deprived folks can see them! Hope to see Bang in the winner's circle!

Good Luck Michael! I figure if you have to dream, why not dream big anyway?

Michael: I was looking at the entries...do you think Bang can overcome the #13 hole? Who are the speed horses in the race, besides Bang? Any with fractions like Bang? Is SA a speed favoring track at this point?

Hi Ramona,

The 13 post is perfect for him. There is SO much early speed in the race that we're hoping he can pick up a few pieces in the last quarter mile. Bang runs on and off the lead, so rating him 6-7 lenths behind the leader is no problem. The last thing I want to see is him contesting the early lead---if the jocks sends him early you may see the first live assassination on TV!

Michael how did he run in quarter horse races? Or where those races at Los Al for either TB's or AH's?

Freddy,

Bang was beaten a nose in the Grade 1 Marathon Invitational at 870 yards at Los Alamitos in December. He really should have won, but for checking in the stretch. Before that, at Sunland Park, he won an 870 stakes by 4 lengths and a 1000 stakes by 7, setting a NTR. All these races were TB/QH.

It is raining at Santa Anita right now, so if the track is off tomorrow, we'll scratch Bang. "Safety first" is one rule I don't budge on--just ask my kids! They are sick of me saying it to them since they were born.

I, ll hope he is able to run. And otherwise your having a good commitment
to your horse. Keep my fingers crossed at 10.30 in the evening. That,s about 12.30 on the west coast.
Somebody knows an internetsite, so i,ll be able to see it on my p.c.
having fast broadband.

Ben.

Duh... at least I got the 3 hour part right! I was looking through the programming to set the timer and couldn't understand why I couldn't find it! But, it's on at 4pm here, and it's set up to record, just in case we get to doing something in the barn and time gets away from us (like that ever happens.)
