I have always wondered WHY jockeys do it- to their bodies', their life, everything seems a super hard life (most things connected to horses are imo), but Jockeys I love them to bits and any jockey that is out there every day or every other gets my respect instantly.

RIP

i got to agree with you....why do they do it....gotta be some sort of inferiority complex being so small..lots to prove. ever wonder why the small dogs are the ones that always bite ? same reason. little men with lots of courage.

It is better to die when you love your lifes work. When you hate your job, you are always on the racer's edge.
Mike was an example of this God Bless You Mike, may your next ride be victorious.
Those without sin cast the first stone.

RICH MIGLIORE pays respect to Mike Rowland

Postby ballymoss » Sat Feb 05, 2005 9:20 am

Jockey Richard Migliore, himself no stranger to racing accidents, just passed a milestone, winning his 4,000th race.

He remarked about Mike Rowland, which was a very nice and classy thing to do.
