I loved this mare too -

Bred in Texas by Eileen H. Hartis, she earned three Texas championships, including 2003 Horse of the Year.

GOT KOKO was not only a truly great competitive race mare she was a living testament to what can be achieved by a very small scale breeder in a regional program. I hope her foals do well by her and in them her spirit lives on.

I was saddened to read the news of the loss of this great mare. Her memory will live on in the stakes race named after her in Texas. RIP and know you will be remembered.
