Brisnet has a ton of errors

Postby karenkarenn » Sat Aug 22, 2009 2:58 pm

Hello
What other company can I go to to find information on the horses dams and siblings of the yearlings that are being sold at the Cal Cup 09 sale at Pamona.
I originaly started with the American Produce Record CD that Brisnet has but there were ALOT of errors. After the first 110 yearlings that I looked up viw their dam- I noticed by looking at the their sibling sales results that Brisnet was incorrect. I did email them three times and I have all my emails returned to me.

I know its wrong.
I looked up my friends a filly from 06 yearling sale that brisnet has listed as an Az bred that was in a AZ sale in 0ct 08 hip number 0028- born April 15th .Well JC says that its a Cal bred april 30th and never been sold for 5000. Some very nice person sent me the link to the AZ sale and it doesnt have the Brisnets horse that they claim was sold then or eve.r
Then I went to study the sale at Pamona Cal Cup 09 in Oct. dam is Publicity Shy , Brisnet says that the 07 foal was sold at FTM- horse named Cotton Moon- they said it was Hip 150 sold for 20,000 - well after looking at FTM sales results for that time, there wasnt a Cotton Moon- according to the JC, Cotton Moon didnt go through the sales ring. THere are others, but I dont have all night to tell you. I wanted to know where else I can find info on dams progeny without Brisnet incompetence.
I spent five hours looking up the Cal Cup yearlings siblings and dams, so yeah Im cheeses with Brisnet.

Well, I dont know what you're looking at, but the 2007 Malibu Moon/Publicity Shy colt sold at the Eastern Fall Yearling Sale in 2008, hip #150, for $20,000, consigned by Summerfield. FTM is Fasig Tipton Maryland.

Brisnet.com (Product 105E) shows that a colt we used to own raced in Italy in 2007. The horse raced in US and Canada but never left North America. I notified them through the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page but it is now months later and there still has been no correction.
