F-T Midlantic Eastern Yearling Sale

Postby merse » Sat Aug 22, 2009 12:24 pm

I just got the info package from Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Eastern Fall Yearling Show at Timonium, Maryland.

My filly, Falcon's Folly (Fantasticat-Falcon's Eye by Mutakddim), has been assigned Hip #366 which means she'll sell on the morning of the second day (October 6th).

Anyone from this forum planning on attending - maybe we could meet for coffee?

Merse, did they just send you the page proof for your yearling or do you have the entire catalog?

I'll be going, hopefully buying but we'll see how last years purchases do during the month of Sept as to whether I have the money to purchase any this year!

They sent me the information packet that lists all the consignors and the hip numbers of the yearlings as well as sales ground info, stall card ordering instructions, repository stuff, etc.. I don't know when the actual catalog will come out. If you want me to look up a Hip #, I'd be glad to.

Thanks for the offer, Merse, but I really wanted to see the Pa.-breds and local consignors. I can wait until F-T puts it online, though. Hope this sale is better than last year's!

I know we'll be there. El Camino, where will you be?

Merse, I owe you a phone call!

And perhaps we can all get together one day for coffee.

Doublete? CLH? Bohemia?

Anyone else in?

Depending on what's in the catalog, I may go. I've had good luck with the mid-Atlantic sales even though I'm in Kentucky.

Sorry to say I won't be there :( We are busy prepping our boys for the sales here at our farm - so if they look sucky no one to blame this time but "us"

Last year I was there all days... Bought one each day I think.

Not sure when I'll be there, but I'm still hoping to purchase.

Got a couple registered PA-breds, if you don't find what you like at the sale. :)

Just thought I'd mention . . .

Catalog is now on-line. You have to click "Catalogues" on the top bar, then it will come up. It's not on the home page.
