In finding out when the Molson Million was demoted to the Ontario Derby (actually it died, and was later revived with the new name), I found that a fictional horse has been entered as the 2000 winner, 5 years after the race was discontinued. Meafara never had a foal by Forty Niner, and her 1997 foal by Relaunch never ran (although he sold for $374K).
There is no such thing as too much Teddy.
