Who will be the next up and coming El Prado Stallion?

Who will be the next up and coming El Pado Stallion?

Borrego

Artie Schiller

Buffalo Man

Fort Prado

Lord Admiral

Spanish Moon

Senor Swinger

Timo

Is El Prado going to be a sire of sires? Looking good so far as his top 2 sons are on fire.

Fort Prado!

I'm wishing the best for him and really looking forward to seeing his babies.

Singing Saint has an outside shot of making it.

He's standing at Adena Kentucky. It will be his first year. He was 2 for 2 and had a great closing kick in his two races on the turf at Woodbine. Adena will support him, so while I wouldn't necessarily recommend breeding to him yet, I would keep an eye on what he starts throwing.

It should be mentioned he's out of a good race mare and from a very good family who has gotten a decent stallion in Banker's Gold.

Did they retire him to stud and if so where?

probably not spanish moon, If I am correct I have only seen him racing on Turf over long distances... These do not appear to be the kind of horses the US wants to produce as there are no races for them.

Never heard of Singing Saint until this thread. Looked him up here on PQ and really like his pedigree and that flashy photo but what did he do in those two races to warrant a $5000 stud fee and why only two races?

I was told by a good source that he will be at stud in 2010, but I'm not sure that the Block's have made an official announcement. I would hate to post what I heard and have it turn out to be rumored.
I'll be happy to post the information here when it's definite.

I have such respect for Fort Prado--hope he produces babies with his heart and stamina.

We tried to lure Fort Prado to our farm, but couldn't get the deal done as Swain popped up so we jumped ship. He has a huge potential.
too weird to live...too rare to die

Well I was hoping Florida but Fort Prado is staying in Illinois for a $3000 fee......and Singing Saint is $5000!?

It's really cool how Fort Prado had the soundness to keep racing until there was demand for sons of El Prado. Its like in real estate , eventually the market came to him.

I own a half-sister to the dam of Fort Prado. She's been a hard luck mare and had some foaling issues that have worked themselves out when I bought her, and she has a two year old working well this year. He's close to a start.

It's a good family that traces back to Pange, the granddam of Landaluce and great-granddam of Theatrical.
