I was advised yesterday that we will not be racing Rummy this year he is going to be racing early next year now he has just not had enought time after his rest in late July August from his last trainer and to push him now ould be foolish, so we all look forward to him racing next year.

Is there year-round racing in the UK like there is here in the US?

Or, perhaps I should ask, is there year-round racing in your part of the UK or at the track(s) you are looking to race at?

yes there is year round racing but we have to let him rest as he has a sore shin so he will be back in work end Jan 2011 he developed splint with his first trainer as he was lunged and worked on hard ground for too long and was IMO, so that would have set him back as far as I am concerned the first trainer was not working correctly.
