It is hard to say - she is a stakes winning young Tapit mare, and if she's in foal to Awesome Again, I would guess that would hope at least $150K, but with the way the sales are nowadays, who knows? I think they paid $110K for her in January when they bought her.

Malibu Beach was an out at FT. I was going to stop in on Sunday to see her but LB notified me she was pulled from the sale .... what will be next for the little Tapit filly ;)

I'll be at the sales on Wednesday for sure and then a bunch of other days after that ...

Allou was purchased by a bloodstock agent from Australia - she may be off for down-under :(

Thanks LB! It was a spur of the moment purchase lol. She arrived at the farm this morning and immediately started munching on hay. She's a sweetheart. I have to say I gave a sigh of relief when I checked her over and didn't see anything wrong with her, because I really didn't look at her very thoroughly before I bought her

I missed it totally!! It was Song Cat, the filly I went to Saratoga to see in August 2005. How did she look? $150K isn't demeaning in this economy..

Congrats on selling Allou!

For 150K you know she looked pretty stinking good ;) I was sitting in the auditorium when she went through and from there she did look like a really nice mare but I didn't see her in the back so all I got was the front room look (didn't see her walk, etc....), but as I was watching them go through and looking at the page - that name just jumped out at me :)

Thanks guys on the congrats! Since she was in the sale guess I should be happy but somehow I don't feel that way :(

Congrats on your purchase Discovery. I've got a couple of colts and a filly that have clean x-rays going through this week if you are looking for another

Thanks clh, picked up another filly today, but still have room for a couple more. Which hip numbers are yours?

Allou - Hip 629
Allou/Daaher colt - Hip 2256
Laird's Honor - Hip 2859
Laird's Honor/Nobiz Like Shobiz filly - Hip 2858
McCaskill/Suave colt - Hip 4354

These are the ones I am (was) selling ....

Three Chimneys has the Daaher colt and Warrendale Sales has the NoBiz filly and the Suave colt. Have a look-see ;) The filly is really pretty nice! The Daaher is a typical Allou foal - big boned! And the Suave has some growing up to do.

Good luck with the rest. I hope the nobiz filly does well, there are not many of them in the sales.

I still have 5 months to wait for mine to finish baking :? :x but hopefully since she's pretty and so is he I'll get a nice baby.
