Consignors and Yearling prep

I am curious about the cost to have a yearling consigned and prepped for sale, and how long they usually have to be at the consignor's farm for.
A woman needs 2 animals in her life-the horse of her dreams, and a jackass to pay for it!

Our experience with sales prep has cost around $35 per day.

If you have any way to do it yourself, go for it. It is just good feed, good exercise, and lots of rubbing.

I've done a fair bit of prepping myself, and had some decent success with the prices the yearlings brought over expected.
I am curious how people who use the big farms afford to do it and not sell their babies.

If I could make a living out of prepping yearlings, that's all I'd do, I LOVE it!
