Yes, he looks very much better than he did when I got him mid-july this year
Image
Unfortunately, he will never recover his delay of growth (he's 151 cm high at 31 months old, not quite much than the pony of my kid ) and I probably won't be able to make him race.

But I love him, he's a very very nice boy, very gentle. :D

He came from us, but what Vanessa does not say is the fact that she had put him on a huge collection trip as that was much cheaper than a direct travel and so the poor guy had to travel 4 days !!! for just 900 kms in a heat wave that we had at that time that had 39° C!!! The truck was not air conditioned for the horses and he was always a gangely boy, but not showing a single rib when he left. Our states vets are very sharp and he would not have let him travel if he would have shown a rib and looked like on the pictures that were taken on his arrival. A horse can lose 50 kgs in 24 hours said the states vet when I showed him her pictures and it will take 2 months to get these back and this colt had a travel of 4 days to arrive for just a distance of 900 kms.

I do not take any blame here so Vanessa stop trying to slam my reputation by implying I am to blame for his condition on arrival! All bigger stud farms are under control of the states vets here and they visit every year to control all horses and they are very happy with the condition my horses are in. You wrote your vet said he had growth deficiency, well then my GG filly from Shew has that too as she is just 15.1 hh and was raised in USA before she came over. The Shew foals are always gangely and look only really nice once they are adult. All yearlings look fabulous but the 2009 one from Alchemist x Shew looks also gangely, but that does not mean they have a growth deficiency it is just how they look until they are grown up.

For the condition he looks you have to blame the 4 days trip in this terrible heat. So stop blaming me!

I haven't named anyone on purpose.
It's not the place, nor the place to argue (again).
I'm just factual, so I will edit my previous post to keep the pic you gave me (not pretty big neither, mostly the hips ...).
I'm just very proud to show how he's looking now, even he's a pony.
I won't say anything more and I don't want to.
If you have something else to add, you have my private email, neither you nor me must have kind things to say I suppose.

Hello !
I was on holidays in Paris for the Arabian World Championship at Salon du Cheval, and it was a surprise finding a coloured thoroughbred there. I didn't expect it at all. My boyfriend and I went to "visit" them every day we were at the Expo.

I took some photos, they aren't great but...

They all look great! I especially love those green eyes, do you think they will stay that color?
