Zenyatta to Bernardini

Does this choice in mating selection mean that Zen will NOT go to A.P. Indy?

Not this year, but it means that, eventually.... yes, I guess.

Perhaps they were concerned about A.P. Indy's age or fertility? He is certainly a really dominant force.

Zenyatta has a half-sister by Tapit's sire Pulpit.

And as a runner ... she stunk.

I wouldn't count on 'eventually'.
If they were unwilling to deal with his fertility issues this year I doubt they would another year.
Chances are this may be Indy's last season anyhow.

Zenyatta also has a 1/2 sister, by Bernardini. Be interesting to compare the 1/2 sisters by different Indy sons.

Yes indeed.

Her half-sister by Giant's Causeway has shown some potential, and could be a stakes horse in the future, so those looking for her to go to Giant's Causeway might have some more ammo if that comes to pass.
