A client was at New Bolton last week to breed to "Boomer" and saw Lauren there w/ a paly mare to be bred to Five Eighty Four behind her in the trailer lineup. Would that be one of yours? Boomer was there for a refresher course on his phantom mounting when I got a call one of his TB mares came into heat a week earlier than expected.......so I had them traipse over there instead of here.

Yes, the filly's blaze is none-too-subtle! I'd actually thought of "Irish Glow" as a name for her, but it's not available.
Too balance it out, the most recent colt (out of Flo Joe) doesn't have a white hair on him. And "Solid Gold" is also taken.
I'm open to naming suggestions on any of them. I can't tell you how tired I am of trying to find "gold" names -- only to find that every combination and permutation has been taken by a Mr P descendent. I've got names for a few of ours this year, but the pally's are still officially nameless. At this point, catchy "non-gold" names are even better!
(Camohn -- I'd heard Boomer was hangin' out at NBC. Not sure which mare was there that day for 584.... did she have a pal colt? If so, it might have been Skattered Gold)

Well, SymRanch, today is your lucky day. I thought of and found multiple suitable, available names for your babes. None are taken, as of five minutes ago, nor obvious similarly pronounced names. Here goes:
For your Skattered colt: Rambling Man, Skatter to the Wind, On the Cape
For your Sweetie colt: Place Your Tickets, Ticket to the Gold, New Roll
For Irish: Expensive Wine, Gold for Diamonds, Party Decor
For Flo Joe: Golden Blessings, Glitter Palace, Race for Gold
OR Mix and Match

What lovely foals!
Do you have any other cream dilute TBs? I see far more palomino TBs than buckskins, perlinos, smoky blacks, etc.

Thanks everyone. So far a couple of them seem like they might see a racetrack instead of a show ring, but we've got a couple years before crossing *that* bridge with these kids.... (today's worries are still foal sniffles and trailering for mom's breedings!)
Henthorn -- interesting suggestions. don't love any of them, but they did send my thoughts off in some new directions. so keep 'em coming!

Names, names, names what's in a name, just ask Willy o'the Valley.
So let's see if we can do better for your babies
Skattered Gold colt could be Gold Inn Legend or Gold Inn's Mystery.
Gavin's Sweetie colt: Rare Alloy or Two Bits o'Gold.
Irish Corker filly: Cosmic Gold, Tappin Gold, Gold n'Vain, and Cosmic Treasure.
Flo Joe colt: Raise A Treasure, Russian Bullion, or Golden Sequence.
Anyway good luck with names.

If you want names that imply golden things, but without "gold" anywhere in the name, try these from the mineral world:
--Heliodor (golden beryl crystal, same chemical makeup as emeralds)
--Aurum ("shining dawn" in latin--source of symbol "Au" on periodic table)
--Electrum (silver-gold native alloy)
Various gold-tellurium native alloys:
Calaverite (Gold telluride)
Nagyagite (Gold Lead Antimony Iron Telluride Sulfide)
Petzite (Silver Gold Telluride)
Kostovite (Copper Gold Telluride)
"Fool's gold" minerals:
Chalcopyrite (Copper Iron Sulfide--also known as peacock stone)
For the Flo Joe x GPs Krugerrand: Witwatersrand (one of the primary gold mining areas in South Africa)
SymRanch... clarify the Innkeeper colt for me. Is Innkeeper the sire, or the dam sire? I have an Innkeeper filly. If he's the sire then you must have sent the mare to Hilltop? How was that experience? Unfortunately I bred my mare b4 he was at Hilltop. Not such a good experience.
I wish I could afford to send a mare there to Heroicity.
