OH MY! I am in Heaven watching my favorite, the palominos prance around!
I noticed that one or more (not sure) of the beauties had good race mares as their dams. What is the intention of these horses? Are they able to be raced? I have been wanting to see an actual palomino in a race in the USA for years now. There are so many of them now, just as there are pure whites, and they have raced and some done very well, I'm just wondering if these golden beauties can be taken to the track instead of always jumping them?
They are so gorgeous, I'm going to look at them again!
Thanks!!

We will NEVER see another Ruffian......
Well I would love to see a palomino on the race track one day as well but Montana racing is non existent. Mette Campbell owns their sire, Framed In Gold and she sent me pictures of him galloping on the racetrack but he never had a start. His success is over fences now.
Its always fun to dream about "racing Gold".

It's gonna happen...if my co-owner and I have to do it ourselves!
We've got two very nicely bred chestnut fillies and if I'm not mistaken it must be a chestnut and not bay to make a palomino?? Can you correct me on that?
Does anyone know if there is a stallion of the color I need to breed to these chestnuts that's in Lexington? I thought there was. There was/is one next door to us but he is AI only for some reason.
