Find a Gold Nugget

Just saw a Kitten's Joy 3yr. old filly run against us at MNR in a 5K Claiming race! What a steal for a broodmare prospect. Very nice looking filly!!! If she runs again in that level, she is gone!

Unless she's a half sister to, or out of, a graded stakes winner, her broodmare value isnt even what she's running for. Shes a $1000 Canter filly.

Smart Ass,

She is out of a Grade III stakes winner, sex balanced, having winners throughout pedigree!

How would we know if we don't know her name?

I didn't put the name of the horse because if some person was interested they could have PM me...this is a blog for buying and selling thorougbreds I believe. Most people who look to get into or who already are in the breeding aspect of racing are familiar with Kitten's Joy's success.

I don't know a lot about horses, but I know enough to recognize a good pedigree and then look at a horse to see ability. Let me say that I have read most of your comments, and I have learned some valuable information. :)

Her name is Gattino, and her dam is NOT a grade 3 winner, the granddam is a Grade 3 winner, which makes this filly a $1000 Canter filly.

This forum is a classified ads section of the forum, not a discussion forum and certainly not a blog. I have been very busy with school but it seems that I need to devote more time to moderating this forum based on several recent posts (not just this one).

For future reference, it is always helpful to post a horse's name, not just some details, when posting about a horse.
