What's so sad, he's just another cheater and I doubt he's the only one. Goldolphin has the money to do their own blood testing. They know exactly how close they can "use" a prohibited substance in training and exactly when to withdraw that drug before a race, so it won't be detected. Out of competition testing will hopefully halt this practice. TJ

How much did Sheikh Mo know about this, that's the big question?
As you will find with most high profile/powerfull/religious people its do as I say not as I do.
A sad day for integrity, morality and most of all the poor horses that are in the care of the oxymoron we call humanity.
The BHA the licensing body will be banning the trainer for at least a year, precendent already set with a jumps trainer named Howard Johnson last year, and possibly indefinitely.....

Do you really think a trainer for Mo would do anything like this without it coming from the top? The trainer's taking the hit....that's all. The more out of competition testing they perform, the more they will find it is a normal training practice in "drug free" racing juristictions. TJ

In response to the "big question"...Mo isn't stupid, arrogant maybe....but not stupid. As you stated, he was caught before via out of competition testing. Since it happened again, I guess he did nothing about it. Mo is hands on and knows everything that goes on in his racing stable. Lets also remember that Mo himself, was suspended 6 months for winning an endurance race with a horse that was given the same steroids his recently suspended race horses received from Al Zarooni. Sheik Mo's suspension came during "event testing" not "out of competition" testing. What is absurd is Mo acting appalled that this happened. Especially since he knew the assistant trainer in his endurance horse stable (at the time Mo was suspended) was none other then Al Zarooni? My vote is he knew. TJ

My understanding is that it was reported that Sheik Mo was appalled. I'd not be surprised if a spokesperson/aide came up with that choice of word(s).
I would submit that Sheik Mo is (or at least is perceived as) a very bright fellow; and will likely say little, if anything, about the inconvenient truth (if you will) that was exposed, until such time as credible-sounding
, and integrity-laden 
, commentary is appropriately/properly prepared for dissemination...maybe by Sheik Mo himself

Yes and his hearing will be within a week.
When something like this with samples taken and evidence in hand justice is served swiftly.
There is talk of a lifetime ban from the sport.
