I have a hair-brained theory about black horses being a negative when it come to betting on them, there has just been a race here in the U.K. Newmarket where Jazz Master {black] sire 'Singspiel' .....dam....'Turn of a Century', better to be thought a fool, than speak and reveal all doubt, I'm hoping you guys can tell me rather than me ask a silly question about 'Nicks/inbred/outbred.
Thanks in Advance.

There is a small chance of getting a black out of 2 bays.

Why would it be negative to bet on a horse just because he/she is black? I don't even bet on horses based on color.

The following is a very interesting officially registered black colt
(BRIGHT BLUE) who happens to be a maternal brother to an officially
registered black filly (LADY GIACAMO) ---herself a stakes winner!

An occurrence of two black half-siblings coming from a pair of
non-black immediate parents (in both independent crosses) is
quite rare and worth a thorough analysis by black Thoroughbred
enthusiasts and students.

Take a look at this case at:

Black colt at the Fasig-Tipton, Hip No.40
Bright Blue, by Midnight Lute – Lady Gallapiat
