Just won the first today at Saratoga, in a near track record.
They were calling him 'the world's fastest horse.' He appears to be bay. A bay similar to Lucky Chappy (remember him!), with an odd sheen to his coat like Oxbow, and a white spot on his rump that could have been lather...he was a little washy.
But head-on, his face looked white. In a stronger light he appeared to be a bay with a gray head, lol.
The racing program lists him as gray; Unbridled Song is his grandsire. Wish I could find a picture!

Somebody bet on the gray!
HAVANA (grey colt 2011; Dunkirk – Missy Turtle) http://www.pedigreequery.com/havana20
Here are two photos of him:

Evidently, many people are expecting great prospective performances by this gifted grey juvenile. That initial victory is very auspicious indeed.
By the way, his sire Dunkirk is also a very impressive looking equine.

Thanks!
He looks gray in BOTH those pics! But on the TV monitor he definitely appeared to be a bay with a gray head, lol.
How cool is it, though, that the 'fastest horse' is a gray?
Somebody bet on the gray!
If this grey colt posseses the same time consistency shown by her less scintillating spartan dam through her career and he is taking his solid speed from his sire’s family, then we are witnessing the appearance of a very fine horse.
His dam Missy Turtle started 26 times with:
4 (wins); 5 (seconds); 5 (thirds);
5 (fourths); 3 (fifths); 2 (sixths)
1 (seventh) [ last start]
1 (eigth) [penult start]
This grey colt looks like a new THE FACTOR kind of horse.
Wish him all the Best!

Attention please...your attention!
The way this juvenile colt is running his fractions (so close to the pace without fading away within a torrid rhythm and then finding another gear to come from behind) and the way he is achieving his top-notch victories makes one compare him with non other than HOLY BULL! Hmmm, that is some kind of company. Whether he possesses the necessary stamina
to extend his victories beyond 8 furlongs into the realm of 9 furlongs or even 10 furlongs is another paradigm, but there is no doubt that this colt
is unfolding himself as a very talented auspicious colt.
Thanks in advance for your opinions.
