Wanted: 17hh+ Gelding

Postby Howch664 » Tue Jan 28, 2014 7:23 pm

I have lost my treasured OTTB gelding. I want another one from the track. I would prefer a gelding, needs to have clean legs and be sound for jumping. I am in Canada but will consider shipping across the border for the right horse. Height is important as I am over 6'. Would like to stay around the 3000$ I can provide references.

here is one - lilly pond rescue - Maryland I think

Sharon Hancock posted a photo to Lilly Pond Foal Rescue's timeline.

Grizzly bay, a 5 yr old TB gelding. Really quiet undersaddle. WTC and have been working on some crossrails. good on the trail so far. Haven't done any water obstacles or bridges though. Super cute and sweet! Stands 15.2 hands. Adoption fee $700.

Grizzly Bay is a 5 year old OTTB, who last raced a year ago. These days tho, he's ready and waiting for a new home at @[251670221560471:274:Lilly Pond Foal Rescue]!! Visit www.LillyPond.info for details, or call Sharon at 240-299-0021 (Dunkirk, MD)..

Minimum height on these guys is 16.2 I believe, and some of the 16.2 guys are a little thick, so they might take up your leg well.
Didn't read anything about the horses, just breezed through and picked them out based on height request.
