Glad Rosie will be OK. She happens to be a childhood friend of my exercise rider. As I'm hear it, they used to beat each other in pony races before they were old enough to go to school.
Sad outcome for Socialbug. Lovely looking filly and, of course, a half sister to Midnight Lute. I haven't won any Derbys, but after many decades of being around horses, I still don't understand why she needed to be put through bullet works every week-look at her worktab. As Dean Richardson states it, "Speed kills".
