How will G1 Del Mar Debutante winner Sunset Glow do on dirt?

2 year old Del Mar darling Sunset Glow will try dirt for the first time this Fall. Will she continue her winning ways?

Her pedigree definitely appears to lean toward "turfy", what with Danzig on the top of the pedigree and Dynaformer on the bottom. However, she also has Seeking the Gold, who transmitted a lot of class, as well as Capote, who excelled on dirt. If she is as good as her early races indicate, I think she will do well on dirt, and should also get more distance than she's been tested at so far. And many of the Danzig and Dynaformer line also did well on dirt. What's not to love about that? Nice pedigree, promising filly. :)

She is a nice filly with some great bloodlines. They point to turf IMO but if she truly is a special filly she should run well on any surface. I don't question why her connections would want try her on dirt.
