Why did his stud career was so dissimilar to his racing performance
and so different to the successful breeding paradigm of so many
of the sons of Cozzene and Caro?

Do you have a solid theory or explanation on this particular case?

His 3/4 brother Turgeon(by Caro) was a handy sire of jumpers in France. Tikkanen's progeny may have needed more distance and fences to show their best form?

They weren't going to get those type of opportunities in NA.
