Hi Jorge, for the uninitiated of us, this filly's spotted sort-of-appaloosa look is springing from what going on in her genetics?
Her name is Buchiko and she is running in Japan.
This filly is supposedly being pointed to a gr. 3 next following her maiden special weight and allowance scores. She can run some!
Thanks for insight. She's definitely scenic to look at.

Thanks for bringing up this case.
Regardless of how spotted BUCHIKO's phenotype appears, she is a very stained white daughter
of the very immaculate white mare, Shirayukihime (by the solid colored Sunday Silence).
She is not an appaloosa nor any other painted genotype. She is white, that is, a very stained white.

By King Kamehameha (bay) out of Shirayukihime (white), by Sunday Silence

This is a very interesting white case, who is also producing talented runners.

His name is Buchiko, a 2-yo colt by King Kamehameha out of Shirayukihime (Sunday Silence). PQ says the dam is DW. The matching jackets steal the show.

Re: Buchiko, Japanese spotted filly
thanks for explaining. She's so outside the norm in appearance, and apparently as real racing talent. It will be fun to follow her.
