The GR III Lexington

Postby TJ » Wed Apr 08, 2015 4:05 pm

The Derby wildcard race is of no consequence to this season's Derby. Nonetheless it still is the Lexington, first run in 1936...lots of history and won by some very nice 3YO's such as Charismatic, Hansel and Risen Star. PP's below. TJ

Divining Rod, Lael Stables color bearer who brought us Barbaro, fits against these.
Comfort gets Castellano and runs for the first time for Pletcher.
Quimet, gets Lezcano and b's today, he's better than his last.
Fame and Power and Donworth try two turns today?

Divining Rod gets the job done rather easily. Nice to see Barbaro's colors in front.
Donworth nosed Fame and Power for the place spot
Comfort finished 4th after a troubled start.
