This guy may get the all time award. Forty wins, 19 stakes - ran til 13.

Storm Cat line is not condemned to unsoundness at least through Noble Cat although the Relaunch dam side may have something to do with it.

I wonder if his owner actually made a profit on him?

Dusting off this thread to note that 10 year old Salsa Express made her seasonal debut a winning one. She notched her 24th win from 67 starts in a $17.5k claimer at Northlands Park. Her connections must have a fountain of youth they let Salsa drink from.

That's an impressive record but he'd have to go a ways to beat old-timer Kingston. Kingston "only" raced until age 10 (he was, after all, an entire and ended up being leading sire twice) but he won 89 of his 138 starts while knocking heads with the best of his era. Pretty tough cookie, that one.

Salsa Express just keeps rolling along. After winning her seasonal debut, Salsa regressed to a 2nd place finish. Tonight she returned to her winning ways and picked up win number 25. In 69 career starts, Salsa has hit the board in 57 of those tries.

How about this guy http://www.pedigreequery.com/stealth+attack? I saw him win at Sun Downs a couple of weeks ago at 13 years old. He was stepping out in a very jaunty fashion.

Yes, truly amazing. I wish more people wanted to breed for soundness.
What's truly depressing though is the amount of starts for under 200K.

Well yes, but in this circuit up here with 1k to 2k purses I don't even know how the horsemen break even.
