The founder is the dam's sire, the Sunday Silence on top is just a coincidence!

Cannot come across Hakuba First's dam (in the fifth removed); not even in the Japanese registry.

His 5th dam is one of several unknowns in his dau. Wind Appaloosa's pedigree. She's NSB, as is everything tracing to her in that pedigree including Miss Hakuho herself.

The pedigree site I found this one first didn't list any more white than the first dam and her sire, didn't realize it was the oldest japanese family of whites. The white didn't come from the unknown part of the family at least.

How odd these horses are unnamed but their back pedigrees are listed. Maybe at that time some mares were not named (like in the days of yore; mare by Spanker...)
