Great win for this gelding, but i have one question he was written by French jockey Enebish Ganbat, is he related to Bayarsaikhan Ganbat, succesful in Germany?

Enebish Ganbat was the trainer Erin's Isle, and Mongolian Saturday is owned by Mongolian Racing Stable who are building a huge racetrack back home on the Steppes. I think that they have bought about 800 horses from New Zealand and own a wonderful horse down there named Mongolian Khan he is a dual Derby winner and just won the Caulfield Cup down under. He was one of the favourites for tuesday's Melbourne Cup but had a bout of colic and scratched. I am sure that the Breeder's Cup win was some consolation!

Thank you Wilf for the information, most useful. But, you know if he is related to Bayarsaikhan (Enky) Ganbat? He won our Derby a few years ago with German trained Magaluf (Von der Recke) and I thought he is a very capable and nice person.
