Zulu...was put under the whip too soon in Fountain of Youth Stakes, Castellano rides today.
My Man Sam...he's been keeping up with Shagaf in morning works, must overcome his bad post position?
Laoban...still a maiden, hung tough last out in the Gotham.
Cherry Wine...serious finish in the Rebel last out, Lanerie from off the pace?

Hi Dub,
My Man Sam ran a very powerful race to overcome his outside post, he was impressive for sure. I thought Zulu would have the edge on him with his speed and inside post, but he was one of a number of failing Kentucky Derby prospects since Mohaymen got that downhill ball rolling in the Florida Derby. Guess it's the time of the year when the rubber meets the road and melts under the that hot road to the Derby:>) I still want to see what happens next week, the Arkansas Derby will be a significant race having close up Derby finishers Curlin, Danza and Bodemeister all winning that race....and of course, Triple Crown winner American Pharoah who won last years edition. Also that other Tapit colt should be in the race, Creator, trained by Asmussen who will be using the same 2 derby prep races as he did with Curlin (The Rebel and The Arkasas Derby)....Creator (a late developing colt) must be first or second to get into the Derby field.
