The mad man has a first time starter entered in the 4th today at Aqu, a mile and a quarter on the good turf. You can be sure of a couple of things, first he would not ship to New York if he did not think that this horse was ready to run, second you can be sure Val D' Isere (program #6) has a good foundation to travel the distance and he is ridden by a very good jockey. Chad has the #1 making her 2nd start off a good effort and the #10 horse also looks good on paper, but, Mr. Dickinson is not in New York to see the town. Good luck if you play it.

She might be interesting but she broke slow, trailed and managed 5th, beating two horses, Chad's filly looked real good winning easily. Oh well, I will keep and eye on this one, they do not always run even if they are bred well and trained by a good trainer.
In addition, I should have said Belmont instead of Aqu, I know it is early in the meet, but stupid is as stupid does.......
