In TJ's absence ...

P# Horse Jockey Trainer
1 Awesome Slew (FL) P Lopez E Plesa, Jr.
2 Exaggerator (KY) K J Desormeaux J K Desormeaux
3 Summer Revolution (KY) M E Smith R R Rodriguez
4 Connect (KY) J Castellano C C Brown
5 Cupid (KY) R Bejarano B Baffert
6 Wild About Deb (KY) T J Pereira R Preciado
7 Gun Runner (KY) F Geroux S M Asmussen
8 My Man Sam (KY) J R Leparoux C C Brown
9 Nyquist (KY) M Gutierrez D F O'Neill
10 Sunny Ridge (NJ) J Bravo J Servis
11 Discreet Lover (FL) J L Flores U St. Lewis
12 Hit It Once More (NY) K Carmouche G Sciacca

I like Exaggerator (#2) on top and Summer Revolution (#3) underneath in the exotics.
I've played My Man Sam (#8) throughout his career, so now that I pass on him, he'll probably jump up and run his best race ever!

Hi Aug,
Great racing at Parx tomorrow...including Songbird who runs in the Cotillion. I'm still around, but doesn't seem to be too much interest here on PQ...so I didn't bother. But since you posted, I won't leave you hanging:>) TJ

With a fast track expected for the PA Derby I'll go with:
Gun Runner who prefers it fast...got it last time in the Travers, unfortunately he also got Arrogate:>)
Nyquist who hasn't found his preferred fast track since he won the Derby, should come back running off a string of 5 one mile works in a row?
Connect also comes out of the Travers and got in trouble veering in early on, could do better at this distance and a switch to Castellano.
Summer Revolution with Mike Smith in the boot, might show the way from the inside while exiting the Kings Bishop and stretching out?

Here's the PP's, click on Cupid: http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/briswatc ... ummary.htm

I'm also around, just busy busy with work.

Exaggerator has been just awful when he hasn't gotten his rain - two 11th places. Ouch. Cupid's been beating up on the 2nd tier, I don't trust him either. I figure Nyquist must have a physical issue, don't trust him either.

I also like Gun Runner in this.

Gun Runner
Awesome Slew
Nyquist

Songbird dominated once again...she was tested by Carina Mia as best she could, but she once again couldn't handle the Queen. Her time 1:44 flat was a second faster than the older colts in the PA Champion Stakes won by her stablemate Cyrus Alexander
Carina Mia easily held 2nd
Cathryn Sophia was 3rd
Land Over Sea finished 4th

Songbird emphatically showed us that she truly is the best sophomore filly!
I was rooting for Gun Runner, he really is a hard trier.
