Good luck, and may she find the winner's circle! 8)

I'm actually going. This is the first time I've seen one of them race in person. 8)

Hi Toccet,
Surprised to see Joe Sharp take her...seems she was rank once again. Considering the winner ran for 12,500 last out, she could be well sold for the 20,000? Gary's next stop would have been Finger Lakes and you didn't need anymore of that. TJ

Nope--I'll take it. A decent chunk of my investment back. Obviously wish she wasn't last again . . .
But my Sophia was in tears for about 45 minutes upon hearing she was claimed. I'll give y'all experienced hardened ones a few quotes from a seven-year-old's perspective (she's met Modiste three times)

"You mean we can't see her ever again?"
"Whoever invented claiming races! They're so MEAN and CRAZY!"
"Can we visit?"
"Can we buy her back? Why not?"

:(

Please give Sophia a hug for us. That is really a hard thing for a child to come to terms with. :(

Thanks, that's very kind. She recovered and is her usual happy self.
BUT
she's watching me check in on KEENOV and asking if I want to "buy a mommy mare"

Sounds like you've got her hooked!
