Here are a couple solid GR I races for older runners. Dortmund will make his career debut over the turf for his new trainer Art Sherman in the Kilroe Mile, while Shaman Ghost heads to the West Coast to test Imperative and Midnight Storm. Entries and PP's below. TJ

Dortmund looked very uncomfortable over the surface, every step was tentative...a return to the dirt should bring him back to form.

Shaman Ghost just seems to get better with age, I thought he wasn't going to win it today. Big effort by him and by Midnight Storm.
I should never count out What a View! Bal a Bali was a toss to me...oops!

Here's the replay of the Kilroe Mile, you can easily see how uncomfortable Dortmund was right out of the gate. Watch as he never gets into a smooth stride down the backside as he actually stumbles along before taking back all together. TJ
