I agree that "Bold Forbes" has to be in the conversation of great 20th Century Horses! I was fortunate to own a daughter of his, and she was the start of me getting into racing and breeding. Got to see him along with up close touching Secretariat, Sham, Affirmed, Slew, etc..

Last week was apparently a stumper; the answer I was looking for was Flying Ebony, the 1925 Kentucky Derby winner. I'll be taking a break through the rest of the month; see you all in August!
