Hi again. Ran across SALLY WRIGHT. There are 2 - same horse - 1 is noted as a foundation mare, but never had any progeny attached to her. The other has (partly now due to moi) some extra information as well as the progeny, but that entry uses a JENNY CAMERON 1760 as the dam rather than open-ended with "Am Fam 34". I think all the nice info/offspring should be moved to the foundation-mare entry (and it's locked, so I cannot put in more text), in addition to noting that her dam may specifically be Jenny Cameron c1760, in addition to descending from the more famous Jenny Cameron c.1742.
BTW, that brings up the massive confusion with Jenny Cameron 1742. Obviously 2 entries meant for same horse, one "1742" vs. "c.1740". 2 different pedigrees, which apparently caused controversy. It appears 1 entry uses the "original" assumed pedigree, and the other the "corrected". My, if this can be sorted out too!

Re: SALLY WRIGHT - 2 entries
Apparently, and relatively recently, judging from edit dates, someone ignorant of Fairfax Harrison's accepted corrections to the *Jenny Cameron pedigree and descendancy, including Sally Wright (EATS 1:83-93), created a huge unnecessary fubar mess that was time-consuming even to begin to clean up. There's more work to be done, especially on dates.
Many descendants of Jenny and Sally will lack their appropriate female family tags until the next ff db update.
Unfortunately, I neglected to transfer the remarks you mention to the original entry for Sally Wright - which is now the only entry for Sally Wright. If you'll post them here I'll add them to her entry. She's locked and additional entries of same name are presently embargoed.
btw, the Pennsylvaia[sic] Farmer Mare issue has been corrected.

Re: SALLY WRIGHT - 2 entries
Thank you PZ.
I wish I had saved it, but it seems not much else to say except Sally Wright was a) owned by Col. John Hoomes of Bowling Green estate, VA; and b) pedigree states she was out of a "full bred mare of (Tayloe's)".

I added a barebones summary of Harrison's discourse on the Sally Wright pedigree. Suggestions for improvement welcome. It's not easy to convey all relevant info within the current character allotment for the 'remarks' field.
Couple of questions. Did you add Jenny Cameron4 1783? Do you have a copy of, or access to, Early American Turf Stock, specifically vol. 1 (Mares)?

Regarding Fairfax Harrison's books, Hathitrust.org has full text copies of the following (you can download pages, I believe, but can only download whole texts if you have an account with a partner institution):

Gosh I'm sorry PZ, totally missed your comment here.
No, I do not recall ever adding a Jenny Cameron, though I may have added some comments as I've definitely run across her/them. Do not have such a volume, either.
