I would like to start a thread that doesn't involve bashing others in medication or training issues. How about a nice post for once.

Thank you. I tried that by posting about the Falls City.

Cozmic One looks like a big, dopey kid, still has lots of maturing to do. It is fun that they follow these horses so closely. Let's hope they turn out to be something worth waiting for!

So now Cozmic One has raced his first race. Ambled along in last place. Any thoughts? Is it lack of maturity, lack of talent, or just not cranked up for the first one?

From the reports on his schooling, seems like he's still pretty immature mentally. His next start will show if he's learned anything he can put to use.

He's run his 2nd race, 1 1/16 miles on the dirt. Finished 7th, but this time he beat a couple horses.
I dare say he is not the fastest of horses, but there is hope he will win a race at some point. Seems to be quite lazy (and probably still immature).
Very unlikely she will produce something anywhere as good as herself, but hopefully the Tapit colt is a little more talented.

Entered in today's 11th at Del Mar.
Not particularly well bred for turf(in my opinion), but i hope he does his momma proud!

Also note, as a coincidence, that one of Gio Ponti's progeny is also entered in that race.
I am sure his poppa would like to see some revenge against the Zenyatta runner ...

He's a tad one-paced. I hate to break it to her fans, but he's not much of a racehorse!

I kind of wish they would geld him and send him off to be a hurdles horse, or something other than this.

Thought they'd given up on him . . .
