Assault was effectively sterile -- hence only having two recorded foals.

War Emblem comes to mind. I think he went to Japan and would not breed. There was another one that Darby Dan had oh maybe 8 years ago or so, that had started at Hill 'n Dale, and just could not get them in foal. He needed semen extender and a lot of other kinds of help (bordering on AI) and was a bust. He literally had to get the mare at ovulation. I can't recall his name just at the moment.

Speaking of Hill N Dale they also stood Zensational and Buddha who covered huge books and were pretty much total busts. They fit the model of lightly raced and had great speed.
At least with Zen they realized pretty early to stop but I'm pretty sure he covered a few top class mares in his first crop.

Just for fun I looked up the book sizes.
Zensational
2010 - 135 mares
2011 - 98 mares
2012 - 63 mares
2013 - 50 mares
Tailed off dramatically for 2014.

Buddha
2003 - 164 mares
2004 - 182 mares
2005 - 142 mares
2006 - 172 mares
2007 - 33 mares

In general, Unbridled's Song was a poor sire of sires.

Midshipman is a ham-and-eggs stallion who appears to be throwing to his mare line (and he kind of looks more like his dam than UBS). Mission Impazible and My Golden Song are doing decent jobs for regional stallions. Otherwise, there are a lot more misses than hits, even from very well-bred horses like Will Take Charge or First Defence.

Graydar looks like the next big flop. He has one big horse in Gray Attempt and a whole lot of not much else.
