Any information on Zany's Rage

Hi there.

I'm new to this listserv, but am thrilled to find this site.

I have a 28 year young thoroughbred called Zany's Rage. He's a very neat guy that has been a wonderful friend and competitor. Bought him when he was 6 years and he's done the gamit from eventing to jumping and ended up Prix St. Georges dressage.

I'd love to know if anyone has any information on him; I'm desparate to get a copy of his one win picture. He didn't set any records at the track--which was all to the good for me and him ;-).

For his one win picture, contact Fort Erie race track in Ontario, Canada and reach the track photographer, and ask how to get a Winner's Circle photo from

July 6, 1981 (2nd race)


Admittedly it was a $3000 claiming race run on a slow track with just five horses racing but I think that to you it will seem like the Queen's Plate.

I can't tell you how exciting it will be to see this. Zany may be 28 in chronological age...but he acts and feels like a youngster--guess he's just a young at heart kinda horse.

I will let you know for sure if Fort Erie can provide the win picture.
