Has anyone seen Morluc in person? Size? Conformation? Temperment? Thoughts on his chances as a sire? Breeding recomendations for Morluc?

I have no personal account to share, but Looking at his pedigree and I were going to search for a mare for him, I would find/look for a graustark or alydar mare. Not sure if she is still for sale, but this horse Sushi3 would be a choice. Listed at 1500 with canter. Graustark, nasrullah, and alydar lines were most successful with Mt Livermore and I would go back to that generation of successes if I could pick my mare.

I think he has several sw's in him, it will be interesting to see which ones they are.

I would tend to think that Nijinsky more esp via Caerleon would be a fitting choice on paper for Morluc. Its hard to ignore the success of the Blushing Groom-Nijinsky cross plus Morluc is off the same La Torienne family as Caerleon & it def never hurts to have Hail To Reason & Round Table on the female side of a pedigree. I would also think that a Storm Cat line mare would be fitting esp from a speed source such as Forestry or Forest Wildcat. I'm not super crazy about Morluc but he was a nice turf sprinter that ran all over the world & if I had a Caerleon mare or granddaughter he would be on my short list.
