Guys, I'm worn out talking and debating about BB and RD. I'm leaving them to you all. My hope is BB is alright and will run another day. I would like him to go out with a better performance.

By the way, I use steriods on my racehorses if they need it and will continue as long as they are legal!!!!

True, but if it was an incipient heart problem, BB could have dropped at any time. So I wasn't comparing Dutrow's situation with Jones'. In terms of class Jones is in the stratosphere and Dutrow is 50 miles underground. But, if you don't know what's wrong, you REALLY don't know what's wrong. What Dutrow said he saw was the horse being pulled up, he thought something was wrong. If BB was not obviously lame, I bet some really serious possibilities were passing through his mind.

Nevertheless, you are probably right, he could have stopped to say a few words. As I said, though, I'm far less worried about Dutrow and his lack of class than I am about the increasing success of IEAH. The last thing racing needs is a scandal of Galactic proportions - and these guys are capable of producing one, IMO.

As far as juicing is concerned - yes Dutrow certainly has the suspensions to prove it, but I'm not sure that steroids (which are after all, legal) are quite such an exact science as some of his other methods. In fact they seem to be pretty difficult to figure out, if one is to believe the Kentucky Horse Racing commission. The fact that the rest of the world apparently has got the steroid issue sorted out seems irrelevant - it's too tough for America.

I really prefer Steve Roman's "performance-enabling" phrase. :)

He makes a very clear distinction about that in his interviews.
