They say the feet arte okay...That was biggest issue I had with him. I stay away from busted feet, but it seem Dutrow has everything under control with them....It's still worrisome, but I'm gonna go with him on top and figure the feet are good, for tday anyway.

2 quarter cracks...That just sounds horrible...if he runs up the track I have no one to blame but myself...knowing all these things well before the race.

my point exactly. how a horse coming off a mile and an 8th grade 1 win in one of the most important preps for the derby goes off at anything over 12 to 1 I dont' know. but 42 to 1 I have no choice but to unload regardless of what my feelings on the race are

I agree that Pyro was written off way too fast after one bad race on a surface he didn't take a liking to.
So I'd like to see a Col John and Pyro exacta in no particular order. Maybe throw in Gayego. Lobo's a good horseman and I'd love to see him get a piece of it... though I suspect he'll get caught up on the engine with a few other contenders early.
If BB wins the Derby I will not cheer. Too much bull shit involved with his connections inflated ego.

I am a little stunned at the high odds for both Tale of Ekati and Monba.
Think Monba got bashed a bit because people feel Pyro didn't run well, I think Monba is a good bet and I had him to win the Bluegrass. And Ekati in the Wood - much discussion regarding how heavy the track was going down to the wire. Horses were getting slowed all day on the last bit.

Eight Belles is a karma bet - maybe she will get some push from horse heaven and the great filly who won this 20 years ago.

So I have to pick:
Colonel John/Monba/Tale of Ekati/Eight Belles.

Too bad my piggy bank is busted LOL! if it hits I might cry.
