Has he the potential to become a sire of sires?

Given the opportunities horses like G'zapper have had, I think it's probable.

hi Jean

Potential as a sire of sires? Awesome Again's got it, but...

...he does NOT wow me, and I don't expect him to be the next great sire of sires; regardless...I see no reason that he shouldn't sire (at the very least) some useful sons at stud.

That said...I find it difficult not to like the chances of superstar racehorse Ghostzapper (by Awesome Again) to make it...and I'd be surprised if he didn't sire some big-time runners.

Respectfully

A superstar racehorse? Bobby Frankel passed up the AG Vanderbilt because he didn't want the horse carrying 122 pounds. I'm not sure that a 4 race campaign making him HOY makes his a superstar. I'll reserve that word for Kelso, Forego, Affirmed, Spectacuar Bid, and the like.

back on the radar with a top performance from Awesome Act winning the Gotham. Thought it was one of the better wins on the Derby trail this year. Just cruised past the leaders on the second turn.
