Stop, Drop and Roll: The 1st at Belmont?

Postby Heidilady » Sat May 05, 2007 11:01 am

I didn't see it but apparently this horse (I think they said it was called Abajja) was gonna be an easy winner and the jock just sort of fell off. Did anybody catch it? What the heck happened?

I hope the jockey didn't have some sort of seizure or other ailment. Any word on whether he/she is o.k.?

Heidi, it seems as though the jockey was injured. See article.

I really hope they don't just drop this story. It's easy for it to get pushed aside with Derby stuff but we're all trying to follow and keep up with this guy's condition. I really hope his back and neck are ok. This sounds scary.

Pushed aside...like Jose Santos? Have you heard a word about him the last three months?
