Korean Racing and Results
Anybody know how to find info on horses in Korea? Or that were sent to Korea? Any contacts anywhere?
A woman needs 2 animals in her life-the horse of her dreams, and a jackass to pay for it!
Here is the English version of the Korean Stud Book site:
http://studbook.kra.co.kr/eng/main.jsp
It does not appear to have race results, but you can look up imported horses.

If you have the name that the horse raced under there search for it and the race record will be there, example below.

This is really amazing. Our farm bred and raced a pretty good horse called Concept Win years ago, and sold him to people in Korea after he retired. I saw this posting, and went to see if I could find out whether he was alive or whatever, and he's the leading sire! We kept his half brother, Major Impact, who was by Roberto, thinking he'd make a better sire than Concept Win, being by Manila. Funny how things work out.
Quite interesting growth in their stats:

wonder how it shapes up against similar nations

Koreans love their racehorses both on the track and stir-fried.

Part of my job is to watch foreign stakes results, including Korea, so I will let you know (MillyMix) if BE MY DAY shows up in a stakes race.
There is a Korean site I frequent to check these results weekly, but it is entirely in Korean, so it won't do much good to post the link here.
But if I see your horse, I will let you know.
And to Chicago78 - Concept Win had another stakes winner last weekend. The stakes Dong-A Ilbo was won by Hongji, a 2003 colt by Concept Win, out of the American mare Oksana Bayou.
