Shock Tamer pads—anyone ever use them?

I looked at them while at the Equine Expo... they seem like they'd help lessen leg & joint concussion. Didn't know if anyone has actually used them? Or another brand of pad that does the same thing? Does it seem to make any difference? Just curious...

I used them on my horse when he was eventing and he was never unsound.
All men are equal on the turf - or under it.
