Shermanesque (Fusaichi Pegasus)
Circle H Farms purchased Shermanesque a couple of weeks ago. He will begin stud duty this year in Louisiana, not sure what his fee will be. Anyone know much about this colt? He only ran 5 times but had a pretty impressive race record from those starts. I would like to hear some opinions.

He seems to be the stereotypical FuPeg, flashy 2 year old that doesn't amount to much beyond that. They are usually head cases and prone to injury.
Countess Diana never produced anything of note before she died and there is a very good chance this guy won't sire much.

I don't like to rain on anyone's parade but Shermanesque was purchased for $8,000 recently. I know because I asked my agent to purchase him if he liked what he saw. I was surprised that he went so cheaply but my agent passed and purchased Moygaddy fopr me, a few HIP's later for $14,000, as a maiden. Hope this helps.
