Yet another colt ...

Postby mikec » Fri Apr 25, 2008 11:06 am

Got a call from the farm @ 1:15 A.M. today. Beach Barbicue delivered a reportedly " huge " colt by Mutakddim. Can't quite define huge yet ( they did have to pull him out ) as we won't see the foal / mare until early this evening but we'll get some pics. One down & one to go !

HUGE seems to be the order of the season, and lots of boys among the foals. Congratulations.

Thank you. This is Beach Barbicue's 3rd. consecutive colt. Next up is Honour & Glory for her so we'll hope for a filly for another year lol.

Thanks Mood Swings ! Went down to see Mom & baby last night and he is certainly the biggest, most energetic baby our mare has ever delivered ... not even close. It just amazes me when you breed a stallion who stands about 15.3 to a similar height mare and you get a skyscraper but that's what he is. He's got some serious legs that go all the way up to there making for a difficult delivery but Ma & Son are fine. Wife took a bunch of pictures so hopefully we'll get some here later. Now we wait for Carly Pooh's Devil His Due foal.
