1997 broodmare black type sire and dam-Free to approved home

Postby Skipitgirl » Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:39 am

Granja Joyel 1997 bay mare. 16.2 big boned and beautiful mover. Recently suffered a hock injury and has arthritic changes. She may be riding sound but not jumping sound. Looking to find a home as broodmare. Easy breeder and foaler. Not bred back and she has no TB foals just AQHA. Had beautiful red roan colt this year. UTD on everything. Located in Ohio can deliver within reason. I am in a tight spot going thru divorce and would like to find this mare a suitable home. Serious inquiries only please.

this mare really has a fascinating pedigree. She is inbred herself 4X4 to the Professional chef Precipitation, considered a very influential sport horse sire.

Her sire Saros is inbred to Precipitation's dam, Double Life, a tap root mare of incredible value. She also produced Classic chef Persian Gult.

Thank you springboro. She is a fantastic mover and very athletic. Has been mistaken for a WB at shows. Im heartsick she got kicked. I had a Pony Clubber lined up to lease her next show season since I will no longer be breeding. Hopefully she can make some fantastic foals for someone.

This mare is available free to a good home. Email for details. I wont ship her far due to her recovering from injury. Also down on her weight due to weaning.

Did you post her over on the Chronicle of the Horse "Giveaways" forum - they have more sporthorse breeders over there.... From Springboro's post, it sounds like she may have a good racing pedigree too, but it wouldn't hurt to post her there and I've also had good luck on EquineNow - free photo ad and legitimate buyers (from my experience). Best of luck!
