Will definitely be interesting to see how this plays out. Cordish has said if slots at the mall pass he would use his own money to buy Laurel and Pimlico. Not sure if it is for sale however. I will say if forced to chose between closing Pimlico or Laurel I would chose Pimlico every single time. You can not hold the Preakness at Laurel and the Preakness IS Maryland racing.
